About Yosef and the Last Shift Options Club

Hi, I'm Yosef, from Tennessee. I wanted out of my job and a better income, without the stress of selling real estate or renting out property. When a surgery gave me some time off work, I spent it learning how to generate income with options. That's where the wheel started for me.
I'm a believer in God, a husband and a dad. My goal is to retire early, spend more time with my wife and kids, and focus on what really matters. I still work full time, run the wheel on the side, and share every trade, including the ones losing money right now.
Why I started the club
Most people trying to build income on the side are doing it alone, after work, piecing things together from videos and forums. I wanted a place where working people could learn the wheel in simple, everyday words and get better by learning from each other.
The name says the goal. Whatever your "last shift" looks like, whether that's leaving a job you don't love, retiring earlier, starting a business, or just having more time for what matters, the idea is to build income that buys some of that time back.
How I trade
I sell cash-secured puts on companies I'd be happy to own, and covered calls once I own them. That's the wheel. Every trade follows the same written rules:
- Only quality companies. Large, profitable businesses with investment-grade credit and steady growth. If I wouldn't own 100 shares for years, I don't sell a put on it.
- Puts 3 to 8 weeks out. I sell 21 to 60 days to expiration at a 0.15 to 0.25 delta, and never with earnings inside the last week.
- A minimum payout. A put has to pay at least 12% a year on the cash set aside, or I skip it.
- Spread the risk. One position per stock, no more than two per sector, and at least 12% of the account always in cash.
- Take profit at 50%. The moment a trade fills, I place an order to close it at half the premium, then sell again.
- Calls only at or above my cost. If I'm assigned, I sell covered calls at or above what I paid, so I don't lock in a loss.
- A second engine. About a quarter of the account sits in income ETFs, and most of what they pay goes back into more shares.
You can see a real winning trade and a real losing one in Part 4 of Wheel 101.
What it generates
Over the last 12 months, the wheel has averaged about 1% a month on the cash I commit to it, roughly 13% a year. That's premium collected. Share prices still move, and some months a stock I own is down while I wait.
Why I share every trade
It's easy to post wins. The losing trades are where most of the learning happens. Members see my full wheel log: every stock, strike, premium, date and result. Right now that includes a McDonald's position that's down on the shares. That's part of the wheel too, and you deserve to see it.

What this isn't
This is education and shared experience, not financial advice and not trade signals. I'm a regular person sharing what I do with my own money. You make your own decisions with yours. My results aren't typical, and past results don't guarantee future ones.
